What does Right & Square Recruitment do ?

Right & Square Recruitment is a Recruitment Consultancy dedicated to bringing together suitable candidates with companies and organisations in the private and public sector, within the UK and the Middle East.

What if I am not satisfied with your services ?

However, in the unfortunate event of you being dissatisfied with our services, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards. We have in place a stringent Complaints Procedure, you may proceed to the following link to view it.

What geographical areas are covered by Right & Square Recruitment ?

We primarily serve clients and candidates in the U.K.
Additionally, we make arrangements for candidates outside the U.K. to obtain placements in the U.K.
Finally, with our vast contacts in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman, we make arrangements for candidates in the U.K. to be placed with our clients in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah and Muscat.

What is so special about Right & Square Recruitment ?

Client FAQs

How long does it take for you to present us with CV’s ?

The time it takes to present CV’s will vary from client to client and depends upon the level of filtering activity you require. Typically the average response times for permanent vacancies are 3 days.

How do you charge for the introduction of permanent staff ?

We only charge you if we succeed in placing a candidate with your organisation.
The introduction fee applied is calculated as a percentage of the basic salary.
The numeric % value varies in line with the level of service required.
Discounts are awarded to those clients who use Right & Square Recruitment on a preferential basis.
Additional discounts are awarded for volume usage.
A copy of our standard terms of business is available on request.

What happens if the employee leaves after we have paid our fee ?

Right & Square’s generous rebate structure covers the initial 12 week period from the candidates start date.
The rebate structure will form part of your contract with Right & Square Recruitment and will be discussed at the onset of the relationship.

Candidate FAQs

How do I register with you ?

Simply send your CV via email or alternatively register and upload your CV via the website and we will respond to you by telephone if there is an immediate opportunity.
You will always receive an e-mail confirming that your CV has been received even if a suitable opportunity is not currently available.

What is the Video Resume ?

We are one of the few sites that allow you to post your video resume or a link to your YouTube video link.
It often speeds up the recruitment process and allows candidates to express themselves further due to the fact that it is a unique tool in addition to the standard CV.

Will my current employer find out I am looking for a new job?

No. Our dealings with you are entirely confidential.
We discuss any relevant opportunities with you before sending your CV forward to any potential employers.

What type of positions do you deal with?

Right & Square Recruitment deal with a wide range of contract and permanent positions within the Accounting, Construction, Customer Service, Engineering, Office, Finance, HR, Industrial, IT, Retail, Logistics, Management, Marketing, New Media and Sales sectors.

What happens once I have sent my CV in response to an advert?

The procedure is straightforward. A recruitment consultant will contact you by telephone at a time that is convenient for you.
They will discuss with you the relevant vacancy and establish how well it is matched to your aspirations, qualifications and skill set.
You may also be asked to complete an on line technical test, participate in a short telephone interview or attend our offices for an informal interview in order to progress with your application.Your CV is then forwarded to our client and interviews are arranged as appropriate.All candidates are asked to provide references at this stage.
Our recruitment team will ensure that you are prepared for each stage of the recruitment process.

Can you give me help with my interview technique?

Yes, all of our consultants are fully trained in counselling candidates through the recruitment process and examples of common interview questions and answers will be provided to you.

How do I know if I meet the job posting criteria?

Both education and work experience requirements for all positions are stated within the postings.
Please take a moment to analyse the specific requirements of each job against your own qualifications to determine whether you meet these requirements before submitting your resume.

What if I don’t like the sound of a job when I’ve had an interview?

There is no pressure for you to accept any job that may be offered to you.
An interview is a two way process allowing both the interviewer and interviewee the opportunity to get to know each other.
We will contact you following the interview to see how it went and give you feedback from the client.
If you decide a position isn’t right for you, or you have any queries or concerns, then we can advise on the most appropriate course of action.
Our main concern is to provide the right solution for everyone.

Will I know who you send my CV to?

As a matter of courtesy, Right & Square Recruitment will always ask your permission before sending a copy of your CV to clients.
Only if we feel a vacancy is suitable for you will we forward your CV.

How long does it take to find a placement?

Every candidate and their circumstances are different, so the time frame varies. We try to place you somewhere that suits yourself and the client but more importantly where you will enjoy working.

How will I be kept informed of suitable job opportunities?

When you register with Right & Square Recruitment, your consultant will spend time establishing your key priorities and the type of permanent or temporary role you’re looking for. They will discuss suitable open vacancies with you at this time and thereafter call or e-mail you (according to your preference) with additional opportunities.
We’ll explore every avenue available to us to find you a suitable position within your timescales. As we’ll be working actively on your behalf, it’s important that you stay in regular contact to inform us if your circumstances, availability or priorities have changed.

What information do I need to provide?

A copy of your current CV is always useful and saves time.
The Employment Agencies Act 2003 requires Right & Square Recruitment to check the identity of all candidates registered with them.
You therefore need to produce any one of the following documents with photographs to verify your identity:

  • Passport
  • Photo card Driving Licence
  • EU Identity Card
  • Student Union Card
  • Leisure / Library Membership Card
  • Corporate Identity Card

If you do not have any of the above listed documents, please speak to us.
Section 8 of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996 requires Right & Square Recruitment to check that all candidates are eligible to work in the UK.
You will therefore need to be able to provide document(s) to confirm this.

How do I turn off daily email alerts for jobs ?

There should be a link at the bottom of the email that allows you to manage them.
Alternatively, you can login to your account, then go to “Jobs” and then click on “job alerts.”

I’m not happy at work but I’m so nervous about leaving, can you help ?

Yes. At Right & Square Recruitment we have all been in that same predicament in the past. Most people feel the same as you do.
Talking through your current situation with our recruitment consultant will help you consider your options.
Remember we are independent, know the pulse of the employment market and there is no pressure or obligation to take things further.

What can I do to enhance my Job Search ?

As well as making sure your CV is as good as it could be, it is important that you make the best impression in any interviews that you get.
Professionalism, enthusiasm and a sound work ethic are common attributes of successful candidates.
In addition technical knowledge, smart presentation and good communication skills are all favoured by clients.
Unless told otherwise, wear a suit to all interviews to ensure you give the right impression.

Will confidentiality of my details be retained ?

Yes. Right & Square Recruitment is registered under the Data Protection Act and actively ensures all guidelines are followed.
Right & Square Recruitment does not share any information with any third parties without the expressed permission of the candidate.

Can I be registered with Right & Square Recruitment and other recruitment agencies?

Yes, you are free to register with as many agencies as you like, however, we believe that Right & Square Recruitment can offer a better, more efficient service than many other agencies.

Will I be given assistance during the recruitment process ?

Yes, Right & Square Recruitment will give you free professional advice throughout all stages of the recruitment process.
